- The METRO business meeting was called to order by John Frei at 8:48 AM
- Dan T made a motion to approve the minutes with support from Bill H.
No discussion took place and the minutes were approved by unanimous voice vote.
- Ken Jewel, plumbing and Mechanical inspection, was a guest today.
- The COCM conference is May 4-6 with no METRO class in May.
- Bill H updated the group about legislative Bills for zoning and 4 or 6 story single exit buildings. Bill’s opinion was that rules like single exit buildings should be in the building codes not Michigan law.
- Scott C. made comment regarding the Metro website.
- The position of secretary was filled by Tim Crabb. A motion made by Bill H with support by Randy J. After a brief discussion, the nomination for METRO Secretary is approved by unanimous voice vote.
- Bill H made a motion to close the meeting at 9 AM with support from someone. Motioned carried to close the meeting.
