METRO MEETING AGENDA

Pinnacle Center
- The meeting was Called to order by Scott Corbat at 9:07
- Approval of the minutes from the last meeting
- Changes or deletions. None
Motion to approve by Stan B with Support by Jeff – All in favor.
- Non-agenda items.
- The next Class will be on September 10th at Embassy Suites. No class for October – COCM.
- Are there any new members or visitors? We had two visitors
- Membership renewals. Be sure to have paid your dues. We have quite a few that have not paid. There will be no on-line classes until we have the new website working. William H said that we yet have two people who have not paid dues.
- Venues. The Embassy suites is a fair price. May have to change from going to Pinnacle center. Randy J spoke about this issue, and we may need to look explore other venues.
- We want to inform the group that Mikolai Stasiulewicz, Wojtek’s son, passed away. 27 years old. No action but our sympathy for the family.
- New Business:
- Updates from the State of Michigan? Discussion regarding an email received from Susan Schippert – see attached.
- New news from the membership? It was stated that dues will likely need to increase.
- New volunteer for the treasury position. Vote new person in. Randy J was nominated by the board. This nomination was accepted with no other people willing to serve. Motion by Dan T with second by Bill T. Motion passed with all in approval. Thank you, Randy J.,
- Class today is:
- Fire alarm and Fire sprinkling acceptance testing. Instructor, National fire sprinkler assoc. 4hrs technical; BI, MI.
- Instructor, Vince Powers.
- Treasury Report: Forthcoming. September/October.
